Thankful

I know the upcoming holiday is Easter and not Thanksgiving, but thinking about the sacrifice Jesus made for us all makes very thankful for my blessings.

*Salvation
Its what Easter is all about.

*my hardworking husband
I don't know how he does that all that does. say an extra prayer for him today, he's working on an important project.

*the beautiful mountains in my areaThis morning, on my drive to work, the mountains were covered in snow.

*familyI have great parents, a wonderful sister & BIL, and of course the princess and little man.

*my in-lawsThey love me as if I was their own - I couldn't ask for better in-laws.

*my job/benefitsThe health insurance is incredibly, not to mention free use of the gym and getting paid to work out!

*good healthI have my share of complaints, but I'm blessed that they are nothing major.

*a love of readingI started another book last night...and am half way through it already. I think I might be addicted.

*the ability to accomplish life long goalsNot only have I completed my bucket list, I've hiked the tallest mountains...well in this area at least.

Here's a view from the top of Mt. LeConte - 3rd highest peak in the state of Tennessee. Never mind the bulky layers, it was October and cold! (Random fact - My parents and I hiked Mt. LeConte the day after Mr. Right and I met for the first time.)

  1. Very cool. Superman and I hiked up the tallest point in Louisiana -- it was 500-something feet, LOL (but sadly true).
