Hey yo...time for a little survey

When celebrating your birthday, when does your birthday week actually begin?

a) 7 days before your birthday
b) the Sunday before your birthday
c) I celebrate the entire month
d) um...you only get one birthDAY, so celebrate the day you were born.

Just in case you were wondering, mine is this coming Sunday. I was a little confused if I celebrated my birthday week this week, even though technically my birthday isn't till next week. Or if I celebrated Sunday and the week to follow.

Jay was extra sweet to me Saturday and Sunday, so I'm sure he's hoping that it counts for birthday week brownie points. It was so nice to come home from my nephew's birthday party (it was a 2 hour drive) and not have to unload the dishwasher or straighten the house - Jay had already taken care of both!

Then of course there was last night where he not only fixed me dinner (chicken noodle soup) but he also brought it too me, along with a beverage, so I didn't have to get off the couch.

  1. hmmmm I say celebrate as long as you can.. we usually pick a day sometimes THE day & sometimes not.. enjoy the pampering as long as he's willing to dish it :)

  2. Very nice! I try to make mine last as long as possible... I've already started a count down for mine, and it's over 2 months away! lol. Some people don't like getting older, but I love my birthday!!!

  3. The whole month! My mom calls me on November 1st and says Happy Birthmonth!!! Then I use the birthday (13th) all month long for excuses to get spoiled ;) I usually take a break for Thanksgiving to celebrate that. Hehe

  4. I say celebrate the entire month!!! :)

  5. I say celebrate the whole month if you can ;) I try to make it last a week leading up to the day but usually any more after that and the family (my husband) says enough already. Hooray for June birthdays - my little one's is on Saturday.

  6. Hey Brooke. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm signed up for the Team Challenge - Go Navy!! - and haven't worked out regularly since high school.

By the way, how did the 1Cor7 Challenge go for you? I don't even know if my husband noticed a drastic change, but he will this week. The last challenge is a toughy. ;)

  7. What a guy! I think yo better keep him. We usually only celebrate the day. :)

  8. Happy early birthday!! =D

(I usually celebrate the week of...but I try to get the entire month, haha!)

  9. Just popping in to say "Hi and thanks for the comment." See you over at the sisterhood.

  10. Happy Birthday! I say celebrate when you can!

what up yo?
