My Bucket List

Several years ago I had a very brief list of things I wanted to do - there were 4 items on there, and all four have been completed.  I figure its about time to make a new list.  I'm struggling with it just a little bit, but here's what I've got so far.

Physical

Run a marathon
Complete a triathlon

Find that happy weight both my body & mind like
Hike the Appalachian Trail

Spiritual

Read the entire Bible

Financial

Paying off the house
Developing a Million dollar + net worth
Help my niece and nephew with college

Travel

Europe
Alaska
Australia

Other

Write a book
Celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary

Its a work in progress, so I need some more suggestions.  What are you top items?

  1. I'm working on a post like this for my birthday! You'll have to wait 'til Saturday {oh stink :( or Monday, due to the whole Internet at home issue of yours!} to see it!

Elly got the goods! I prolly shouldn't admit that we had to go online to figure out what the Mass. one was!! Geography is not my strong suit!

  3. I have a 30 for 30 list, but I never was able to list 30 items, haha! Here's what I have left to accomplish:

    1. Graduate with a Ph.D.
    2. Have a baby or at least be pregnant.
    3. Buy a bigger house.
    4. Get a 26.2 sticker.
    5. Write, edit, and submit a book.
    6. Be completely self-sufficient.
    7. Complete a trialathon.
    8. Present research at 5 conferences.
    16. Learn to surf.
    17. See Mexico.
    19. Learn a foreign language.
    20. Memorize 30 selections from the Bible.

(The numbers are random because I took out the ones I've already done...)

  6. I think you have a great bucket list. If I had one, a few of yours would be on mine. I actually hiked a very small portion of the Appalachian Trail when we were on vacation a few years ago.

  11. Well, I have a Travel Bucket List.

As for other items, I'd say:
    - write a book
    - reach a point where I feel my best, physically - no matter where that is
    - become a domestic goddess. Or at least someone who can keep the house clean and tidy at all times ;-)
