Once again I am amazed and frustrated at my body.
This weekend, I spent 3 days at my in-laws; house. Three days of pancakes for breakfast, chocolate covered pretzels for snack, and butter drenched potatoes for dinner.
So how in the world did I lose weight this week?
I'm down 1.6 pounds from this time last week. I hope I don't sound ungrateful - just a little perplexed as to what is going on.
I'm hoping its that my body has finally gotten kick started on the road to weight loss! Only 4.4 more pounds to go! Or 9.4 depending on who's counting - my trainer seems to think that the additional 5 lbs will be difficult to lose. She thinks, so I don't get discouraged, I should just stick with the 4.4. And if more comes off after that its a bonus.
I tried on work out pants this weekend and UGH!! The mediums were skin tight, but when I went up to a large they sagged in the waist. Seriously as a med/large bottomed girl, I don't want my pants skin tight!
Woohoo! Great job on the weight loss!
ReplyDeleteI HATE being an in between size...why don't they make half sizes like they do with shoes?
Oh, and I added you to my blog roll :-)
ReplyDeleteWeight Loss ROCKS! Maybe your body need some extra calories to kick your metoblism in high gear!

Hooray!!! (I haven't weighed-in in over a month; how sad is that? AND I walked four flights of stairs yesterday for work...and now my legs hurt. Sad, isn't it? lol)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you're doing it right! Congrats on the weight loss.
ReplyDeleteConfession: I had chocolate-covered pretzels for a snack yesterday too. ;o)
ReplyDeleteWay to go on your loss!! You are doing great! You are so close to your goal!
Great job on the loss!! You're doing great! I hear that all the time-that the last 5-10 are the hardest to lose. But keep it up, you'll get there!
ReplyDeletePS. I love LOST too. ;o)
Those last few pounds are so frustrating! I seem to have the same thing happen when I'm trying to loose, once I start eating MORE is when the pounds drop off. So odd!
ReplyDeleteThere's your incentive for proving your trainer WRONG! Keep up the pace and you'll fit those mediums before you know it!
ReplyDeleteI've always heard it's so much harder when you get closer to your goal. Keep up the good work and those last few pounds will come off in no time!
ReplyDeleteIsn't the body weird? The month of February I pig out and didn't gain weight. The first week in March I was really good and I gained a pound.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are doing a good job. Keep it up, you will get to your goal.
I love Lost too!! DVRing it right now:)
Hey the scales are going down....I say don't try to figure it out just go with it! Yea!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering the same thing about my own body! I've been working out for like over 2 months straight.. 4-5 days a week. And I've gained 2lbs! What on earth is going on!?!? :| Im glad you are losing weight though!
